The industrial capital where the Clyde Canal meets the Forth Canal, iron structures and a mechanical skylines.

There are many ancient castles that would make great film locations in Falkirk and one of the most notable is Blackness Castle which is a 15th Century military defence Castle built on the edge of the Forth and Outlander has used this unique castle as one of their locations. It's structure resembles a ship and is nicknamed the ship that never sailed.

The Falkirk Tunnel is another unique filming location which connects Falkirk to Edinburgh and was built around 200 years ago so it has an eerie feel about it.

One of the advantages of filming around Falkirk is is close proximity to both Glasgow, 33 minutes and Edinburgh, 48 minutes away.
